New inclusive playground equipment
In 2019 we continue our engagement creating inclusive playground equipment: We want that all children irrespective of the capabilities of each one can play on our playgrounds!
That’s why we created for the Monsters playground combinations a transition platform where children with wheelchairs may transfer from their wheelchair to the play structure. This transfer point isn’t enclosed by panels in order to ensure an easy access to the play combination. It’s equipped with diverse handles and protection bars in order to facilitate a lot of possibilities to hold on. The extra wide slide allows children with reduced mobility to slide down together with somebody else.
All play structures of the Monster collection dispose of extensive sensory stimulation.

Old and new communication tools
Another novelty on children’s playgrounds reinvented something that already did our grandparents when they were children… communication through speaking tubes. “Whisper of the trees” is a tube telephone, composed of 2 units connected below ground by a special hose, with which the children can communicate with each other speaking to the cones. Slides provide many benefits
A slide is a perfect equipment for any playground. Children love slides! Each child has once taken speed to slide down, and definitely not only once. Some of us adults certainly, too. A slide is indispensable for a playground. It assumes an important role in imaginary stories: It could be the escape way when playing tag, the starting point for an obstacle course, the finish point of a race, etc.
A slide is also a playground element which provides many benefits that are necessary during the early childhood development.

- Slides get children moving and foster an active life, removing the children from smartphones, tablet and computers. Playing with slides counteracts the sedentary lifestyle and the excess of weight, which are two problems more and more frequent already during childhood.

5 types of slides that you can find at Mobipark
Zoopark - Slide "The Snake"
Its structure and sliding sole made of stainless steel avoid that it corrodes due to rain or humidity. It has a free falling height of 130cm and needs a safety zone of 47,25m2. Zoopark-Slide “The Snake” is a playground structure consisting of three elements. The head of the snake is composed of an extra large slide with platform and stairs. The snake’s tongue is a curved sliding sole.
The other both elements which form part of “The Snake”,- the snake’s body and tail,- are playground elements where the children can climb and overcome obstacles.
Zoopark - Slide "The Snake" (head only)
This slide is identical as the one before, however it consists of only one of the slide’s part, its head. Its safety area is reduced to 26,25m2.
It’s a very large slide. The total dimensions of the snake’s head are 2,16 height and 3,93m length. Its free falling height is 1,30m.
The Big Slide “Rampa”
The big slide “Rampa”, just as “The Snake”, has a free falling height of 1,30m, whereas its safety area with only 24,50m2 is a bit smaller. The sliding sole is made of stainless steel. Thanks to the closed back panel of the stairs, the slide offers complete stability and a safe access.
The slide is an exciting playground equipment for children who can experience with it the fun of taking speed and glide.
The Small Slide “Rampeta”
This is the slide for younger children. It has a free falling height of 90cm and needs a safety area of 19m2. It offers complete stability and a safe access.
Monster Slide
This slide is conceived for toddlers and has a low free falling height of only 58cm. It’s ideally suited during early childhood when the children start to discover their body and its limits. The slide depicts an adorable giant monster which will stimulate the children’s imagination. The access steps are of non-slip material surface. Due to its design and specific usage, it is optimal for crèches, nursery schools or public parks with a playing area for toddlers.

Cableway adventure for playgrounds
A cableway often is associated with mountain adventure sports, with activities that provide a great adrenaline surge and with activities which enjoy our children when they are at school excursion.
But the fun with cableways is not limited only to mountain sports. Thanks to entities like Mobipark, the municipalities can include in their urban spaces playground equipment which imitates the huge adventure sports cableways, though conceived that the children can use and enjoy it freely in public parks: without harness, without instructor and without dangerous risks.
How does a playground cableway work?

A cableway is powered by GRAVITY.
This cableway system for playgrounds is designed with a higher departure structure and a lower arrival structure. Thanks to the inclination, the children can cross the distance from the higher to the lower side of the cableway with the aid of a trolley along the cable rail. 25 meters adrenaline kick and feel like flying!
At Mobipark, we offer you two cableway systems for public playgrounds which will be the children’s favourite place to play.
Playground cableway “Huge Bird”
Playground structure made of stainless steel.
The departure structure is decorated with colourful panels and disposes of a large platform of 2x1m as jumping-off point. This departure platform is placed at 1,40m height and can be ascended by means of a ladder.
The arrival structure is equipped with an extra strong shock-absorbing braking system for the cableway trolley which attenuates the “landing”.
Playground cableway “Light Plane”

The departure structure of the playground cableway “Light Plane” is of smaller dimensions than of the playground cableway system “Huge Bird”. Its departure platform is placed at 0,96cm and can be ascended by a ramp. Its arrival structure is equipped in the same way with a shock-absorbing braking system which attenuates the impact progressively.

Having fun with slides
There are so many different slides to enjoy: large slides, wide slides, fast slides, helical slides, water slides, even slides for skiers…
Slides are amongs the most exciting playground facilities for children (and for adults!). With slides the children can experience the fun of taking speed and glide.
Slides can be built in many ways: as individual playground item with access via steps or stairs or annex to a playground structure as tower slide, directly on a hill as embankment slide, even as an alternative descent in a building.
Who uses stairs having a slide?
It’s getting more and more popular to mount slides in private houses, companies and public buildings to connect two floors. The slide on the picture is a helical tube slide with a height of more than 5 metres. It has been installed by Mobipark at a company’s site at Moncada (Valencia).
Could you imagine that there is any faster or funnier way to go downstairs than by sliding?
At present, when playgrounds are integrated in the natural environment, embankment slides are on the rise. The majority of embankment slides are made of stainless steel and are installed on a hill with turf or an embankment with surfacing of colourful in situ safety floor.

Slides than seem to be living
With the slide “The Snake” which forms part of Zoopark collection, children playgrounds can be converted into a jungle or primeval forest in the middle of a town.

Looking like coming from another planet, the monster slide of MONSTERS playground collection inspires any kindergarten, nursery school or public park.
In addition to the already mentioned slides, also Mobipark’s little slide “Rampeta” and the big slide “Rampa” are composed of the platform and the sliding sole formed of one single piece made of stainless steel and side panels made of high density polyethylene in order to offer complete stability and safety. Furthermore they are conceived for different age ranges to have for everybody the correct slide.
Slides even to hop on the subway!
The entrance of a metro station, the usual stairs and moving stairs and next to it… a large red slide. Volkswagen initiated a campaign named “The Fun Theory” and realised an experiment at a metro station of a busy city. They invited the passengers to use “The Fast Lane”, being in motion and much faster than with the moving stairway.
Which way would you choose?
Pergolas, an architectural and structural element
Pergolas are an indispensable element for outdoor spaces. Sunlight and a light breeze are very pleasant, but sometimes, especially on hot days, we are glad about shady places. These architectural elements on the one hand serve as a meeting place and on the other hand provide the shadow and sun protection we are looking for on days of much sun.
There are endless possibilities and types of pergolas of diverse forms and different materials. Generally, common characteristic is their composition of vertical pillars (posts / columns) which support the horizontal main beams. These main beams connect the pillars longitudinally. Transversal crossbeams, which rest on the main beams, complete the pergola’s structure and form at the top an open lattice. Often, creeper plants are used to decorate the pergola, sometimes covering completely the upper part of the pergola.
Mobipark offers a big variety of pergolas, all of them designed for exterior usage. We produce them made-to-measure, adapting in that way the pergola to the place where it will be located. Thanks to the different design models and materials, these structural and architectural elements can be installed as well in urban spaces as in rural areas and integrate perfectly in the respective environment.
Wooden pergolas
These structures are made of autoclave treated Swedish pinewood. Additionally to the autoclave treatment, the wood is treated with two layers of fungicidal, insecticidal and hydrophobic protective glaze with a teak colour finish. Perfect for outdoor spaces!

Suitable for any area, pergolas are able to provide shadow for children’s playgrounds, to dress seafronts and promenades, to cover passageways or to create a relax spot in a rushed city.
Playhouses are spaces for Pretend Play!
As a child, we did all a lot of role play without being aware of it. Thanks to children’s playhouses we have been playing shopping, “mummies and daddies”, dress-ups, being superheroes, playing flying on the moon to name a few. Children do role playing better than anybody: When they play pretend, they create imaginative situations, they play out the characters they want to be, they play out a story and immerse in it,- and they play “as if” the roles and the scenery are real.
That is why pretend play (other names: imaginative play, fantasy play, role play, symbolic play) is so important for the development of the children. They create fantasy situations which help them to achieve new conducts, to mature and to face in the future real situations.

Another playhouse is Mobipark’s Inclusive Activity Playhouse, a hexagonal pergola-like meeting place with diverse activity play panels that stimulate cognitive and sensory abilities, communication and socialization. All of its play panels are arranged at an adapted height so that children and adults with reduced mobility can use it, too. Classic games as the “3-in-a-row”, labyrinths, turning discs and a xylophone (to play your favourite melody!) are some of the elements of this particular wooden playhouse.

Mobipark will exhibit at trade fair TECMA 2018 next June
Mobipark, expert manufacturer in urban furniture, children playground and sport equipment, will be present at coming trade fair TECMA 2018
Trade fair TECMA 2018 (International Town Planning and Environment Trade Fair) will focus especially on municipal services, urban equipment and environment. The fair’s 19th edition will take place from 13th to 15th of June 2018 at IFEMA - Trade Fair Madrid.
Trade fair TECMA 2018 brings together products, technology and proposals for the issus that municipality administration matter, making the fair a place to exchange the best urban practises, knowledge and real day-to-day experiences of the responsibles of our cities. The fair’s visitors are principally professionals of administration, enterprises and industry, constructing/promoting companies and recreation facilities.
MOBIPARK will expose on 75m2 innovative and sustainable solutions:

Embankment slides are on the rise

In the Valencian municipality has been created a new recreation area for leisure activities, promenades, resting and playing, everything in a familiar atmosphere and very well integrated.
Mobipark has been selected to provide the urban furniture and an extraordinary play device for the new park. It’s an embankment slide (also named: tower slide) which is installed without any further play structure directly on a hill or an embankment.
The embankment slide, made of stainless steel, is of extra width 1m so that children and adults can enjoy sliding together.
Usually, embankment slides are installed on a hill with turf or on an embankment with surfacing of colourful in situ safety floor.
For the new playground at Picassent also the surfacing around the slide has been customized.
The customer requested the slide for embankment mounting on a surfacing of treated wooden boards which form access steps for the slide and can be used by the children as climbing structure.
The embankment slide ends in a sandbox.
On the other hillside, round timber of diameter 14cm and length 1m have been mounted as stairs for ascending. There’s also a climbing rope of 4m length with knots in order to create a challenge for the children to climb up.
Custom-made projects that include an embankment slide for the playground are more and more common. Mobipark offers you a selection of 2 widths and 4 different lengths to fit your requirements.
Apart from the play structure, Mobipark also customized the access door for the project.
The door, which matches with fence Nules, is made of autoclave treated Scandinavian pinewood and additional posterior layer of fungicidal, insecticidal and hydrophobic protective glaze.
The door, formed by two leaves, has a total width of 3,60m in order to permit emergency and maintenance vehicles easy access to the zone.

Mobipark also supplied numerous benches “Espadan”, bins “Javalambre” and bins “Valdelinares” for the new leisure area at gorge of Picassent.
All the provided rustic urban furniture has been produced of autoclave treated Scandinavian pinewood with posterior protective glaze in order to ensure long durability.
