- The sun sails are made of a textile structure of PVC which is micro-perforated.
- This protects from the sun while offering low wind resistance.
- The reinforcement with perimeter cable ensures higher robustness and durability.
Moreover, the micro-perforated fabrics allow the free circulation of air. The heat isn’t retained below the shade and the temperature gets comfortable.

There’s a large variety of shapes according to the needs!
As the shapes are customized, the fixation points are determined in accordance with the real requirements. Sun sails may be fixed on posts, existing structures, with turnbuckles and shackles.
The posts are made of hot-dip galvanised steel tube of Ø6” (164mm) and height 5m.
Sun sails are tensioned on the posts with a little inclination, considering the course of the sun, getting the desired shade.
We offer customized design solutions, both for sizes and shapes and for colours.

More and more people use scooters for their daily short but multiple ways. The increasing number of scooters along the streets consequently require solutions to park them in a proper way at the entrances of public buildings, schools, residential buildings, etc. Mobipark therefore conceived three bicycle/scooter stands adapting to the different installation possibilities.

Mobipark’s urban furniture series “Alameda” is characterised by the use of WPC (wood plastic composite), a material with a great ecological benefit: both of its components the wood and the thermoplastic derive from recycling that means beside of the utilization of the recycling, less deforestation.
New in the “Alameda” series and already available is now a bin. The bin “Alameda” combines perfectly with the different types of “Alameda” benches and chairs. For the production of bin “Alameda” it’s employed the same material as for the “Alameda” benches: the structure is made of hot-dip galvanised steel and the boards of WPC. And the best: the used materials make this urban furniture maintenance-free!

What exacly is URBAN FURNITURE?
Urban or street furniture is a collective term for objects of equipment installed in public spaces.
From historical street lights to callisthenics elements
While there were only night lighting and historic fountains in the past, nowadays we find an enormous variety of urban furniture:
Benches, bins, flower pots, bicycle stands, bus shelters, bollards, fences, guideposts, traffic signs, traffic lights, street lamps, fountains, pergolas, actually even dog’s zones, playgrounds and outdoor training elements are counted among street furniture.
Which FUNCTIONS fulfils urban furniture?
The street “furniture” aspect is a relatively contemporary concept. Its functions are primarily utility and adaptation to the environment.
Nevertheless, its visual appearance plays an important role: The installed elements identify the site to the point that on account of typical furniture we can recognise the location. When we see a red telephone box we visualise London and when we see large bicycle parking spaces we imagine Amsterdam. We recognise the famous undulating bench of mosaics of… Parc Guell at Barcelone and the iconic flower tiles of Bilbao.
Also safety, accessibility, resistance to weather conditions and to vandalism are taken into account in the design of urban furniture.
What differentiates SUSTAINABLE urban furniture?
Beside of showing usefulness and aesthetics, with regard to future viability urban furniture has to be sustainable.
- In order to be sustainable it has to be DURABLE.
- ECODESIGN puts special consideration for the environmental impacts of the product during its whole lifecycle. Sustainable urban furniture has to be 100% RECYCLABLE at the end of the useful life.
- It is preferably produced with a high percentage of RECYCLED
- It is an advantage if the used materials are MAINTENANCE-FREE (treatment, paint, varnish, etc.) as it SAVES RESOURCES of time and material during the whole lifecycle.
- Sustainable cities and communities count on urban furniture from LOCAL MANUFACTURERS because this means less contamination during transport and the possibility to repair instead of replace.

At Mobipark we produce urban furniture in compliance with sustainability criteria at our sole production site close to Valencia, Spain.
We produce benches, bins and tables made of WPC (wood plastic composite), a material composed of recycled thermoplastic polymer and recycled natural fibre. Apart from the utilization of recycled material its durability is 5 times longer than of natural wood. This, together with the structure of hot-dip galvanised steel makes this urban furniture totally maintenance-free.

For colour decoration we use HDPE (high density polyethylene) panels type “Ecodur” that have outer surfaces in colour and a black core made of recycled HDPE. How to create successful playgrounds
Children need outdoor recreation spaces where they can socialise with others, frolic, play and have fun. Also grown-ups enjoy when they can make use of sports equipment outside in public spaces.
When creating a new public play, recreation or training area, there are numerous professionals who intervene in the decision process and not always everybody is aware of the wide range of factors and variables which affect the final result and quality of the park.
In that respect, the Spanish Association of Manufacturers of Urban Furniture and Children Playgrounds (AFAMOUR), with vast experience in this field and a complete and objective view on the realised areas, those which did succeed and those which did not, would like to contribute their experience as manufacturers, designers, planners, advisers, installers and safety certifiers of recreation areas.
For this purpose, Afamour with the collaboration of the Spanish Association of Public Parks and Gardens (AEPJP), elaborated a document in form of a Guide with 12 Best Practices.
What is the aim of these guidelines?
These 12 recommendations are considered BEST PRACTICES for the creation process of a children playground or training area. The guide is a summary addressed to those responsible for the projects and the creation of new areas and also the politicians involved in the decision making.
The objective of the document is to support those responsible to take into account adequate decisive factors so that the acquired and installed playground or training zone at the end of the process:
- Meets the need and maximises user satisfaction.
- Prioritises the children’s interest and right to play:
safety - physical activity - development - fun
- Represents an effective, safe and sustainable investment:
for the durability, origin and use of resources over time.
What have these 12 Best Practices to do with the SDGs?
The SDGs are the Sustainable Development Goals set by the UN, and included in the Agenda 2030 and designed to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all: end poverty in all its forms, reduce inequality, ensure healthy lives, take climate action, ensure quality education, provide access to justice and promote peaceful and inclusive societies for sustainable development.
Among the specific targets that the states should reach, emphasis is put on accomplishing that the cities and communities are inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable.
The 12 Best Practices for the creation of children playgrounds and training areas are aligned with the SDGs, promoting green, accessible and inclusive quality spaces which facilitate playing and physical activity outdoors, enhancing health and well-being for the people.
Which aspects does the guideline contain?
The recommendation guide for the creation of a successful area is structured into 12 chapters that contemplate qualitative, environmental, social, normative, safety and economic aspects in order to obtain recreation zones which meet the demands in accordance with the requirements.
At the end of each chapter are to be found the most frequent errors which are made and should be prevented in order to achieve the aim: a successful playground or a successful sports recreation zone for all users.

What is a Pumptrack?
It’s a track for wheeled sports equipment formed by waves which brings physical activity with a lot of fun.
As the name ‘Pump-Track’ indicates, the track, once reached the riding speed, when ridden properly does not require pedalling or pushing, but a “pumping” action on the rises and descents of the waves to maintain the ride.
Who can ride on Pumptracks?

Advantages of Pumptracks - Asphalt or modular pumptracks?
Municipalities which substitute worn off skate parks or create a new area in parks or unused spaces, need to undertake an investment. They wonder if it’s better to realise the project with a dirt pumptrack, an asphalt pumptrack o a modular pumptrack. Without a doubt, all of them are valid.
While dirt or asphalt pumptracks need an elaborated process for the preparation of the terrain with excavation, earth moving, compaction and in case of asphalt pumptracks still the asphalting, modular pumptracks are quick to install:
COSTS: Modular pumptracks are less expensive because of their prefabricated nature. In addition, the yearly cost of maintaining one of our modular pumptracks are significantly lower than any other build method.
QUALITY ASSURANCE: Our modular system is built in a controlled environment where each piece undergoes a rigorous quality inspection.
SAFETY CERTIFICATE: Traditional build methods are difficult to certify while our modular tracks already dispose of the certificate in compliance with the safety norm EN14974 (“Facilities for users of roller sports equipment”).
EXPANDABILITY: Having the possibility to expand a structure within a dynamic recreation facility or within a growing community is fundamental.

The PIRATE’S GALLEON is a themed multi-activity play structure where children become adventurers on the high seas and let their imagination run free.
It attracts a wide age range and it is ideal for the development of social and emotional abilities (communication, role play, etc.) and the development of physical abilities (motor skills, coordination, agility, strength,…).
Many accessible activities and sensorial experiences make the equipment inclusive so that children with different abilities can play all together.

PIRATE'S GALLEON, composed for two floors with many activity opportunities
Ground floor
The inner area of the pirate’s galleon is completely accessible and generates a refuge for the pirate kids. Here we can find a porthole with creep tube, two hammock swings and in the corner of the ship’s bow a retreat to sit down. Activity panels with gearing wheels, pairs, labyrinths, 3-in-a-row and a photocall make up the walls of the ship’s cabin. Two tube phones communicate with the ship’s deck.

On deck, there’s the command bridge with navigation table, compass, moveable steering wheels, bell, telescopes and cannons.
The deck platforms are elevated towards bow and stern. Integrated in the deck floor, there’s a horizontal rope net where adventurous kids can cross a shaky ground. In addition, it allows the children from above and below to visually communicate with each other.
Accesses and descents
The access to the deck can be realised in different climbing ways:
by a climbing wall, an inclined rope net, a ladder and a vertical rope chimney.
Apart from the climbing accesses, the pirate’s galleon is provided with a comfortable spiral staircase with stepped platforms in order to allow children with reduced mobility to ascend to the ship’s deck and also parents to accompany younger children.
The descent may be realised through the same access ways or much faster through the “emergency exits”: firemen’s poles, a tube slide of 2m and an open slide of 1,50m.

New inclusive playground equipment for playing together
Throughout the whole year we develop and extend our range of inclusive playground equipment. All children, irrespective of the capabilities of each one, should be able to play together!
For the younger children, now you can select another Monsters playground combination with transition platform where children with wheelchairs may transfer from their wheelchair to the play structure and an extra wide slide which allows children with reduced mobility to slide down together with somebody else.

Likewise we enlarge the selection of activity panels that are installed at an accessible height, arouse the curiosity and invite to explore by touch, sight and hearing.
Children love turning over the sandglass time and time again in order to observe how its content runs from one side to the other. Depending on the incline the children move the hourglass, the time runs slower or very fast.

The squabbles about the desired places show that there can never be enough swings at the playground. We have the solution for small play areas where due to lack of space it is not possible to install several swing frames: Combi swing structures!

Now you have at your disposal an intermediate size (height 3,75m) which has more play opportunities than the small pyramid and a more affordable price than the large one. Moreover, thanks to the horizontal nets, it only has a maximum free fall height of 0,95m, why in compliance with safety norm EN1176 turf/topsoil is sufficient as attenuating material for the impact area.

Mini round-about for one person which is installed with a slight inclination of 50. The rotation is provoked by shifting the weight. With a little practice the children manage to pirouette on their own axis and experience the exciting sensation of the centrifugal force. The deep bowl seat makes turning completely safe and makes the round-about also suitable for children with reduced mobility.

New impact protection slabs with patented installation system by cross connectors. The slabs are interconnected among each other which is reflected in a recognizable improvement of the dimensional stability.
In addition to the tests according to norm EN1177 relating to impact protection, this floor covering has been tested on a voluntary basis under the terms of EN-71/3 to the migration of chemical substances in play equipment and to substances hazardous to health PAHs (polycyclic-aromatic hydrocarbons) with a favourable result.
Our playground information panels are now produced with Dibond aluminium composite sheet. Direct printing on the Dibond sheet allows representing the information with more detail than by engraving. It is also possible to customize the panel with the customer’s logo.
Metal fences in colour are very popular for bordering and protecting playgrounds. That’s why now we offer two types for you to choose the one that fits best for your area.

Playing promotes the social skills
The playground is a meeting point and a place to get to know new playmates. The children learn to interact with other children, negotiate group dynamics, participate, collaborate, compromise, deal with others’ feelings and share.

Children's playgrounds for playing together!
Our playground equipment contributes to the physical, intellectual, emotional and social development of every child. It creates an inclusive ambience and facilitates in a natural way the interaction between children with different abilities.
The new Inclusive Play Structure in form of a Space Station is composed of a ramp, spacious platforms, a playhouse, slides and diverse play facilities all along the structure. The dimensions are designed to enable wheelchair users to move freely without obstacles. Nevertheless, this playground combination is not exclusively for children with reduced mobility, but promises a lot of fun for all who want to play!
For smaller play areas you can find a new Inclusive Playhouse with various activity play panels and a shop counter for role play. The playhouse disposes of an adequate access so that wheelchair using children can take part in the games.
A challenging Oscillating Walkway stimulates the proprioceptive neuromuscular system so that the users improve their muscle control, balance and coordination.
Our Activity Panel “Photos” got a cosmic restyling with engravings of a funny astronaut and his space rocket. Now you can role play and pose for pictures as if you were flying in the outer space!
The “Labyrinth” Activity Panel for hand-eye coordination has been completely redesigned. Now, there’s a race track where the children can do car races along the rails. On the reverse side there are turning discs with spiral and gear wheels to experiment cause-and-effect.
Our Activity Panel “Pairs” has been invaded by MONSTERS! It’s possible on both sides of the panel to play connecting different pairs of figures. On one side, adorable little monsters have escaped from children’s playgrounds Monster collection, on the other side you can find animals from the Zoopark collection.
More novelites!
This is the new Multisport Table for a variety of games (modalities of football, volleyball, tennis, ping-pong…). It is weatherproof and resistant to UV rays, ideal for permanent outdoor installation at public green spaces, sport centres, parks, schoolyards and camping sites. The games are high-motion and ensure lots of laughter!
Our slides “Rampa” and “Rampeta” got exciting variants: Now you can have both slides (0,90m and 1,30m) also with a more challenging access in form of a ladder made of one single piece of stainless steel.
Also our Chessboard and Parcheesi (ludo) tables for outdoors have been modified. Now, the materials are maintenance-free (new seats made of WPC and structure of hot-dip galvanized steel), the tables are easier to transport and optionally they can be supplied with less seats in order to provide space for wheelchair users.
Last but not least, our Playground Information Panel got a signboard of dibond aluminium composite sheet, replacing the former signboard of HDPE with engravings. In this way, the playground information panel can be personalized and added complex images as logotypes.
