TITAN

Pirate ship “Titan” is a very complete play equipment for a wide variety of physical, sensory, cognitive and social/emotional play activities with no limits for children’s creativity and imagination.

The ship has an open design and combines play areas on floor level with elevated play areas at different level up to 1,50m height. The accessibility to all areas and thus, the possibility of a full participation, is guaranteed on the basis of the large widths between the posts and of accesses with different levels of difficulty: a spiral staircase with stepped platforms to also allow children with reduced mobility to ascend to the upper part of the play equipment and also adults who accompany younger children, a transference platform where children with wheelchairs may transfer from their wheelchair to the play structure, furthermore, for those who like challenges, a perforated climbing panel, an inclined climbing net, a climbing ladder and a climbing wall. Other elements for motor skills are a creep tube, double firemen’s poles, a horizontal climbing ladder and three slides of heights 58cm, 90cm and 150cm. The slide of 58cm is an inclusive extra wide slide which allows children with reduced mobility to slide down together with somebody else.

Pirate ship “Titan” provides several meeting places to get together or to retreat. Two pairs of tube phones

communicate with the ship’s deck. The children can manipulate the activity panels with games about pairs, animals and colours, ship racing, labyrinths, photocall, two moveable steering wheels, wind rose, gears, spiral, rattles, bells and telescopes. Other setting elements such as a mast with sails, flags, cannons, bull’s eye, skull and crossbones, monkey and parrots complete the play equipment.
